I just had to send another condolence to all the family and Barbara Ann her sister. Sister Reed and Barbara Ann are family to me and my family. They took me and my sister Doris into their home when we moved to Atlanta. I wish I had time to relate all the wonderful times we had together. I imagine we will have an eternity to share our accounts in paradise. What an outstanding spiritual life Sister Reed lived. Oh, I don't want to forget her famous Lemon parfait cake. We can enjoy it again soon. May Jehovah continue to strengthen all of you! We stand firm because Jehovah makes us stand! Mary Helen Walker
Sheila, Jeff, Phyllis, Derek and Tara as well as all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. I will miss Mom. I call her Mom because she was like a Mother to me and countless others. She loved our Father Jehovah and was faithful to the end. She is safe in his memory. She provided all of excellent spiritual guidance. I look forward to seeing her again. When we can sit down and share our stories in the new world to come. Stay strong in the faith. Hold on we're almost there! Love all of you! Mary Helen Southern
Hello Phyllis and Lakara, My fondest memory of your mom/grandmom is when occasionally she would allow me to sit with your family at the meetings. It was a great boost to my day and a great source of encouragement for me. The last time we were together, I remember your mom keeping busy in the kitchen; it was another good time with her. I remember too how graciously she dressed; sharp! I'm looking forward to better times for us all in the 'near' future. Now, we share this painful time together along with Jehovah God. My prayerful thoughts extend to your entire family. Please remember that you are not alone. For now: Imagine the time when You'll wake up and no pain will be in your mind and heart You'll be excited for a new day to start You'll think about the joyous events ahead and you'll be happy to get out of bed You too want to do your part. You'll remember, Today, Papa so-and-so or Mama so-and-so, who has awakened from a deep sleep, will help you build a house to keep. You'll worship Together, work Together and laugh Together making good memories in all types of weather. All bad memories will be erased and you will never be alone All suffering will be gone.
Warmly and sending much love to the entire Reed Family.
