The Life of Juanita Reed

Juanita Reed, 83, was born in Hogansville, Georgia on December 27, 1937, to Freeman and Hattie Pearl Johnson. She is the third of five children. Their family eventually moved to Atlanta, Georgia where they were raised and grew up.

Juanita married her sweetheart Philmore Reed, Jr. in 1956. After welcoming their first two children, they moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1959 to make a new life. Their family grew, adding …
