My condolences to Jocelyn, his children, and the entire Charles family.

Joey made it so much easier to transition to Michigan State for so many of us.  RIP Joey, so sad to hear.

Oh my heart he was one of the best Drs I have ever had. So kind caring knowledgeable.  I miss him and his family when  they left us in FL. My condolences to his wife and children

My prayers are with Joe's family and friends. Joe was an amazing man with kind heart. I will not only remember him as my doctor but also a dear friend. Joe made a positive impact in every one's life that met him. He will be truly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with all his family and friends! Dr. Charles was a wonderful friend, co-worker, and doctor to myself and so many others! There will never be another one like him! He was with my husband and I as we got married, lost our first son, and brought our second into the world. We will never forget all the blessings he brought to our lives! May he Rest In Peace!

May the peace that passes all understanding wrap its arms around his family at what plays out to be some of the hardest times of your lives.

He was wonderful In every kind of way

I go all the way back to his Red Cross days when he was a student at MSU

He was great to work with then and I am sure that NEVER changed!

My heart is aching, Dr Charles and his family were such a bright spot  in our Lake City church. I loved having Joey and his golden trumpet playing with our little  orchestra. Rest peacefully my friend, you will be greatly missed. My prayers are with the family. May Jesus come soon, it’s time to go home.
