Jon made Sarah very happy. Though I only met him a few times, his wit, humor warmth and kindness were apparent. As was his exceptional love for Sarah and Elodie.

I first met Jon in 2012 in the world of Diablo III - logging onto Battlenet to find not only my sister, but an unexpected 3rd character in play.
It wasn’t until Christmas of that year that I finally met Jon in person and put him to ‘the test.’ Being offered a box of Belgian chocolates, the test was to see if he would voluntarily share them with our family. Of course he did. He was always kind and always showed up with a smile.
Though it goes without saying, Jon's an integral member of the family. He was always there to support at family functions - whether it was in the States or in Europe. Jon was always a reliable source of witty Famileo entries. I'll miss reading those guys.
Amongst my best memories is photographing Jon and Sarah’s wedding in 2015. It was an honor to be able to share the entire process of such a special day with you two, from preparation to first look to the ceremony and party. Thank you for those moments.
Much love.

For a brief time, I was Jon's manager at Oracle. I really enjoyed how he approached solving problems, and how down-to-earth he was in our one-on-one conversations. I tried to bring him into my most recent job because I thought he'd be a fabulous influence on the team, and I truly would have enjoyed working with him again. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great person.

Jon was always the kindest and one of his greatest strengths was his empathy and understanding of others. I will always be grateful for his generous spirit and how he always showed up for our family, especially in times where we needed a helping hand or listening ear. Thank you for sharing your kindness, Jon! I'm sorry we did not get to bake together, but I hope to fulfill our baked good dreams with Elodie and Sarah in your memory. You are a warrior and I love you.
