My condolences to Jack's family. I first met Jack when [ describe how you know each other ] and we would often [ include common activities together ].
I'm saddened to hear of  Dr. Eckman's   passing. He provided such  good care to  my family. I particularly liked  chatting with him , his sense of humor, and keen intellect. Blessings to his precious family whom he talked of  fondly throughout the years.

I am sorry to hear about Dr. Eckmann's passing.  He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor.  He always had something funny to say to me.  I would always say to him, "Doc, it always cost me money whenever you inspect my mouth".  He was my dentist from 1994 until he retired.  Rest in peace Doc, we'll see each other again in the future.  And when we do, I will not allow you to look inside my mouth.
We are shattered to learn of Dr. Eckmann's death.  He was my son's first dentist at age 5 in 1975, when he first began practicing in Lake Oswego.  Before long, myself, my husband and mother-in-law were also his patients until his retirement (three generations).  We all thought the world of him.  He was so gentle and kind, friendly, and a great practitioner.  We have missed seeing him these past few years, and are heartbroken to learn of his death.  We send our sympathy to the family.
