Background
If you are looking for place to donate in honor of Jack, please consider donating to the medical, dental, and vision trips to Cambodia through Horizon Community Church. Jack was an essential part of 8 trips to Cambodia, using his dental skills to serve people who may never have seen a dentist or have access to dental care.
About the trips:
Each year Dr. Jack and the team would visit five different villages in the Takeo region of Cambodia and set up clinics. Each day 150 to 200 people would come through the clinic and many if not most of them would go through the dental clinic. Extractions were a large portion of the dental care received (relieving infections and removing decayed teeth greatly improved overall health) with the occasional filling and everyone received education on preventative care.
The Cambodia dental, medical and vision trips are still taking place today.
