John Fuller started the “Honor Crew” about six years ago after doing some handyman work for a woman whose husband was deployed. That was the beginning of shining his bright light to help fill many gaps while their loved ones were away. News9 was honored to share a bit of John's love (and energy) for others in this story we did.

I am so very saddened by the news of John's passing.. He was always a super sweet man to me, he was one of my favorite customers at walmart when I worked there. I always enjoyed visiting with him and he always made a bad day good! RIP John, you will be deeply missed by all that knew you.

I was so sorry to hear about John's passing. He loved his family fiercely and adored Wendy so much. He always made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed to “sit at his table”. His warm smile and upbeat attitude about life will be missed.
