Met John in Wichita in 1975 when he was line dancing at a local club. Yes! He loved to dance! We continued a close friendship all these years.
When we would chat these past 18 mos, John would be the one to lift my spirits with his positive outlook and his gratitude for each day he was given on this earth
A life well lived. We are all better for having the opportunity to have known him

We met John and his lovely parents at the home of our dear friends Steve, Leslie and Sean Bridges many many years ago.
We were new to the US from Africa and always recall how much we enjoyed chatting with John about the parts of the US we didn't know.
He was engaging, intelligent, and oh so funny. Pablo and I would have loved the opportunity to spend more time with them all and have enjoyed the stories over the years of Steve's oldest brother! By all accounts, John lived a full and rich Life with a positive attitude and great energy!
May his memory be a blessing and may he rest peacefully now together with his parents xxx

My condolences to John's family. Johnny and I basically grew up together as I lived next door to his Grandma and Grandma Courtney. As he was only one year older we played together and enjoyed each other’s friendship through grade and high school. We lost tough over the years, but I also went to Denver and reconnected with John and Wanda when he was as beginning his property management career. I moved to Las Vegas and lost touch again until Facebook came along. His illness explains the reason for his not turning messages in the last couple of years. Prayers to the family and know Johnny will be missed.

My heartfelt condolences to John's family- Dwayne and Steven- and their families. John and I were partners for several years and remained friends after I moved away to California. A visit to Denver to see family on many occasions would not be complete without seeing John and going out for a meal! He will be remembered with love and appreciation for the kind and loving man that he was.
