Johan is a colleague from ABB who will always be missed, steadfast, very articulate, never failed to respond and was always kind and polite, you could always depend on Johan, lovely guy!

I am very sorry to learn about Johan's passing. Having met Johan a number of times in Baden as well as at ABB I was wondering why I haven't seen him for a long time and now I sadly know why. I wish the family lots of strength in this situation.

Johan was my boss as I came to ABB Singapore from ABB India on an expat assignment in June 2009. He was very kind and welcoming to me, even taking me and my wife to one of Singapore's best Indian restaurant for a welcome dinner. Being away from my home country, it was very thoughtful of him. I worked with him for many years and he was always very passionate about ABB and always full of ideas. His untimely passing came as shock and he is still missed every day by people whose life he touched.
