Yecenia (Jessie) Sanchez, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2022 surrounded by her family after a valiant battle with colon cancer. Jessie was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She brought joy and light and laughter and love to every person she touched and every room she entered. She had a storied career in media sales and a legendary passion and talent for design but her beloved family always came first. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.  Jessie is pre-deceased by her father Alejo. She is survived by her husband and life partner Marcos, her four children: Christian, Estela, Emilia and Maximo, her mother Altagracia, Sisters, Nurys, Iris and Carmen; Brother Alex and their families.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Jessie’s name to the American Cancer Society.
