From: Vanessa

I just want to make some space to thank the girls for stepping up in different ways to support me and my family during this heartbreaking time:

Karin
Val
Stephanie
Linsey
Erin
Danielle
Jen
Jamie
Jaclyn
Whitney
Nicole

Traci

If it was coming over and checking in on me, checking in via text, cleaning my house, sending me food, helping with the celebration, bringing supplies to the celebration, taking care of me during the celebration, etc.

I love you all so much, thank you.

Linsey....thank you for stepping up that horrible night and helping my father make phone calls. Don't know what they would have done without you.

Update from June 8, 2025

To Brooks Campbell,

No words will be able to truly describe the amount of gratitude the Sobella Families have for you. In the middle of your own grief, you stepped up and made Jesse's celebration what it was. You took the reins and helped this family when we couldn't. You were truly amazing, and we are so lucky to have you in our lives. I know Jesee would be so proud of you. We love you.

Update from June 8, 2025

Thank everyone again for their love and support you have shown the Sobella Families through this devastating and heartbreaking time.

Just want to take a moment and speak on the celebration of life. We have many people to thank, we will be doing separate posts for that.

With the help of many people, the setup went smoothly, and the property looked great. People started to arrive, and it was great to see so many familiar faces. It was nice to have some time before food and speaking to hug, cry, and laugh with so many of you. Kids and dogs were running and playing. Jesse would have loved all the dogs there.

The food was amazing. The company is 808 Grinds for those who asked.

We then gathered to talk about Jesse Ryan. Thank you to all of those who got up and spoke. The stories were amazing and touched our hearts. To those who wanted to say something but it was too difficult...know that we see you and we understand. It's heartbreaking.

After many laughs and tears, more catching up with folks, and more love and stories about Jesse.

Under the circumstances, the family couldn't have asked for a better day.

Update from May 30, 2025

Hello everyone. Please arrive between 2pm and 3pm. Food will be served at 3pm and around 430pm we will have time and space to discuss and remember Jesse. There are about 150 people coming. We will have parking attendants....PLEASE follow their orders and do not just go park in the back of the property freely. Any questions, please contact Vanessa. Thank you all so much.

Obituary

We are immensely saddened about the passing of our son, brother, uncle, friend, and neighbor Jesse Sobella. Jesse Sobella was a gifted, bright, and unique soul who left us too soon. This loss is completely unexpected, and our families mourn his passing greatly.

Jesse Sobella was hilarious and very kind-hearted. He enjoyed the dogs, growing plants and trees, and snowboarding. His curiosity about growing led him to collect various seeds from vegetables, fruit trees, and …
