Personal note from Cassie

Thank you to everyone for your support during this difficult time. As it's still difficult for many to attend in-person events, we will be live-streaming the service here: https://vimeo.com/event/15702…

Also, we would love for you to post your favorite photos and/or stories about Jeremy on the "Memories" tab of this website. Or if you would prefer, please jot down a note, send an email or text, or call. I am keeping everyone's notes, cards, and memories for the girls.

Thanks,
XOXO,
Cassie

Update from Nov. 2, 2021

Apologies on my lack of updates- it took a long time to get the results from the autopsy. The San Mateo Coroner has determined Jeremy's cause of death to have been Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy. Below is a link that explains the disease:

We are very comforted to know that he died very quickly, and thus did not suffer in his final moments.

Adele and Luisa are being checked and tested, as this is often a genetic condition. So far, Adele's heart looks good, and Luisa is too young to expect any results from an examination. However, they are both getting genetic testing. I'll share the results with family members when we receive them.

Love,
Cassie

Update from Aug. 28, 2021

Jeremy was in San Francisco for a DEA training last week. Sometime Thursday evening or early Friday morning, he died suddenly and peacefully in his hotel room. An autopsy was performed, but results will take approximately 3 months. At this time, we do not know what caused his death.
