While we are not blood relatives, we feel like members of the Castillo family. Jen’s passing is a loss of a family member for us, too. We are so grateful for the fun times with her whether in Washington, Orleans, or Richmond.

While growing up in New Milford with Sara, I was always included and welcomed in the events of the Castillo Clan, which means I have wonderful memories of all of Sara's siblings (and all of her cousins as well). When I heard this sad news I could hear Jen's voice in my head from all of the holidays and happy times spent together and to which I was luckily included.   Her spirit and the cadence of her voice will live in my head and heart forever.   I'm so sorry for your loss and for the sadness this has brought to her Altamont family.
