So sad to hear of Jeff's passing. He was my band soul mate at Rose Hill Jr. We sucked.. absolutely horrible, goofed around the entire time.. only did band to follow our brothers footsteps.. pretty sure we were last chairs (we think they added a few chairs, with hope (fail) LOl ) in the saxophone section because the band teacher thought we would take after our brothers with serious talent (fail). Over the years we have joked and laughed about how horrible we were. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Miss you Jeffery! I am feeling blessed that over the years we have been able to keep up and visit at your folks house in Redmond when you were in town. I love you.

I knew Jeff was going to be special when Amy brought him to dinner.  Amy was beaming when they arrived, he was special. We weren’t going to embarrass her by asking Jeff a ton of questions at the first visit.  But Jeff told us all about himself.  His education, jobs, hobby’s, childhood, family.  He let us know they were serious about each other. It was a lovely evening.  James and I thought Jeff was great, open, honest, fun and so smitten with Amy.  
Jeff was an amazing cook. He once brought over the most perfectly hand made gnocchi.  He also a way of making you feel like good cook.  I loved to cook for him. I have tons of recipes that I’ve planned to make for a holiday meal with Jeff. My hubby doesn’t like new things. Jeff seems to  like everything. Though in honesty we all know he was a much better cook than me. 
When something wasn’t quiet, right he’d tell me. He was right and I appreciated him telling me.  He also gave the best hugs. As a mother-in-law you want a loving relationship, I believe he knew I him as much as I loved my kids and I know he loved me.

He was so happy when Amy got pregnant. The timing was right for them and they got the most precious little boy. A perfect combination of Amy and Jeff. My heart breaks, Amy is a fabulous mommy but I wish he had more daddy time. It’s Christmas and we’re missing you Jeff.  I’m so glad you were in our life, you were a true gift. A blessing we couldn’t keep…

I had the pleasure of working with Jeff since the time he began his career at Oracle. He was extremely knowledgeable, talented and very energetic. The way he approached his work with such enthusiasm and commitment is how he approached his life. He shared his stories, humor and love for his family, hobbies and he often updated me about Jacob's latest interests and accomplishments. He will be great missed not only by me, but by his Oracle family.
