So sad. What a painful life he led. No parent or grandparent should outlive their child.

I would love to be with you during this difficult time, but I know I would be more of a burden than a comfort. Please know that I love you all and am trying to send you strength.

Words cannot express the depth of our sorrow for your loss.  Corbin brought so much joy and happiness into the world, and his absence will be deeply felt by so many who knew and loved him.  We are here for you during this difficult time.

This is how I will always remember Corbin: a doppelganger and "brother from another mother" for my son (the one on the right) with his red hair and passion for video gaming! Corbin made the best of his time in and out of the hospital, keeping busy with massive Lego projects, reading manga, playing video games, and watching YouTube videos.
My deepest sympathies for your unimaginable pain and loss . RIP, Corbin. ❤️

My condolences to the entire Speers Barrientos family. We are devastated to hear this news and have such fond memories of T’Choupi. One memory will forever be imprinted in my memory banks is of T’Choupi and my son playing Legos in his room. I walked in about 30 minutes later to find that the entire floor was now covered in Legos, without a single sign of flooring visible. The two boys were deep in thought and collaboration of building together. He looked up at me with a mischievous smile without a single word spoken. My son proceeded to explain exactly what they were working on and how they both HAD TO find the right pieces. I laughed and closed the door to allow them to have fun, figuring it all out together, heart filled with warmth and joy that these two boys were so happy and engaged.

He will forever be remembered in our hearts as the vibrant, kind, incredibly curious and intelligent human being he was. May his soul rest in peace and may he find his way to reuniting with his grandmother in the afterlife. Aryon will miss playing and laughing with you, T’Choupi.  Until we see each other again…

I am so very sorry.  I was thinking of Corbin just yesterday morning; I had not heard yet.  My love and prayers are with you.   Fr. Jim

Why T'Choupi's nickname was spelled T'Choupi ... he LOVED that binky or "chupete" as its called in Spanish.
