I remember JeanMarie for her friendship, kindness, generosity and joyful spirit.

JeanMarie and I met when we were 13. We were introduced by our mothers who had been classmates in college. The Hirst family had been new in town the year before we moved there and JeanMarie determined that my first year at PUCE would be better than hers had been. She ensured that I had a place to sit on the first day of school and also extended invitations to all the parties and events with her group of friends. We lived within a block of each other and walked the mile home together after school each day.

After our 8th grade year the Hirst family moved away. JeanMarie kept in touch, returning for our freshman year of college. We were roommates that year and had so much fun.

In the years since college we kept in touch, meeting up when possible. Even my children remembered her visits with fondness and would often ask about her. We will miss her dearly and carry her memory in our hearts.

I first met "Jemma" when she was brought onboard to join our Contracts Administration team at ATI Restoration, Inc. in January 2024.  Our interactions were all remote (via Zoom meetings, etc.), but from the first couple of interactions I had with her, I could easily tell she had a heart of gold and a strong desire to learn and contribute to our great team & company.  Our conversations were always so upbeat and positive, along with laughter I can still here in my memories.  I helped to 'show her the ropes' and build a solid foundation of knowledge to get going.  After just a few weeks to training & guidance, she did something I was not expecting... but would further define the Jemma we all got to know.  She was so appreciative for the detailed and helpful training, she sent me an Amazon card as a genuine thank you.  In her words, "I really appreciated the additional effort you put into ensuring I had correct access to recorded trainings & materials... you should be seeing a gift card I'll be sending your way for Amazon as as a small token of my appreciation/to thank you for all your helpful input when I first started in my role".   She will be missed dearly by all who had the blessing to know and/or meet her.  Rest in peace, sweet-soled Jean Marie.

My condolences to Jean Marie's family. I first met Jean Marie when we both lived on Guam.  She started out as my boss, but quickly became my friend.   Through the years we have followed each others travels and lives. Visiting in Tennessee at her family home, in Colorado, and here at my home in Oregon.  No matter how far apart we lived we always seemed to stay in touch. I will always remember her smile, her joy for life, and her perserverance .   She loved with her whole heart, no holding back. She made a lasting impact on many lives and will be dearly missed. My heart goes out to her family as I know you are who she loved the most.  Family was everything to our Jean Marie.

It is truly heartbreaking to hear this news. Jemma was not only my manager but also a true advisor. Our calls would often last a long time, with her teaching me lessons from the Bible and how to stay positive and keep improving in life. She was a very kind and friendly person who valued her team immensely. She often shared her life experiences so we could learn from them. I hold a great deal of respect for her, and I am certain she has raised a morally and ethically upright daughter.

I wish you all the very best. Know that your mom was a hero, and we hold great respect for the wonderful person she was. May she rest in peace, closer to her God.

I’m deeply sorry to hear about Jean Marie’s passing. Although I never had the chance to meet her in person, I felt a strong connection with her as a colleague from India. Jean Marie was incredibly caring and always took the time to address our concerns with special attention. Her understanding nature and dedication to her colleagues will be profoundly missed. Jemma’s absence will be felt by many. 😔

My condolences to Jemma's family, especially to her beautiful daughter, Bella.  I first met Jemma when recruiting her as a Contracts Administration Manager for ATI Restoration.  Jemma had a brilliant mind and a cheerful countenance.  It was clear that she loved the Lord, as well as her fellow workers.  But, her love for Bella was first and foremost, and she loved to talk about what a wonderful daughter she is.  We will continue to pray for Bella, and the rest of Jemma's family.  Jemma meant a lot to the ATI family, and we will miss her dearly.
