Jason "JKey" Key, affectionately known as JKey, was born on June 18, 1978 in Vallejo, CA. He lived a full and vibrant life until his untimely passing on October 31, 2025. Dancing through the world with a funny, witty, and caring personality, Jason left an indelible mark on every life he touched.
Survived by his children Adelynn and Calvan, mother Lori, brothers Jeremy and Chris, father Michael, and sisters Taylor and Shannon, his absence leaves an unfillable void in the lives of those closest to him. However, their hearts find solace in the cherished memories of a man who was a pillar of love, laughter, and light.
Among Jason's proudest and most fulfilling achievements were his two children, Adelynn and Calvan. His love for them was both profound and visible, echoing through his actions and words. A testament to his dedication as a parent, Jason instilled in them the values that made him exceptional: to live each day to its fullest and to bring joy to others.
Known for his unmatched wit and humorous spirit, Jason was a lyrical wizard and was known for his freestyle rap skills. He had an extraordinary ability to light up any dance floor and bring smiles to the faces of those around him. With his natural talent for storytelling, Jason was renowned for his captivating jokes and toasts that cheered the hearts of his loved ones.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at 3:30 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery. It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to Jason, but his spirit will continue to live on through those he leaves behind who will ensure he is never forgotten.
