Though we’ve known Jansen since he was a child, Ben and he really bonded as adults. Ben considered Jansen one of his closest friends. The two of them painted together, played frisbee golf, hung out often, and shared a common interest in their future together as artists and friends.
Especially during Covid, Jansen was a regular guest at our home and shared many meals around the dinner table. He was loved. Ben, Shannon, Marianne, and Morrie will miss him greatly.

My heart breaks for the whole family. My condolences to hear of the passing of Jansen. Wish I had the photo of our boys playing Palisades Sparkill little league together when I was the team mom. My son Damien McNichol (Palisades, NY) is also 28 and I can’t imagine your pain and loss.
