Dunc's obituary
On April 20th, 2024, with family at his side, James Duncan “Dunc” Twaddle passed away at the age of 87. Dunc is survived by his wife of 64 years, Linda (nee Walkom), their children; Katharine Grant (Ted), Jason Twaddle (Liz), and Margie Massong (Rob). The grandfather of: Kayla, Heather, Amanda, Samantha, Adam (Erin Coores), Andrew, Iain, Josh, Cameron, Monika, and Nicole (Michael Onya) and two great-grandchildren River and Matthew.
Dunc was predeceased by his parents, Duncan and Winnifred Twaddle; his sister Marjorie and his brother, Gordon (Florette). He is survived by his brother Richard.
In his final moments, Dunc reflected on a life well-lived, filled with moments of laughter, family, travel, good friends, and the simple joys of life. His legacy of love, humour, generosity, and passion for dogs will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
Friends and family are invited to an informal open house at Dunc and Linda’s home in Kingsville, Ontario (190 Prince Albert St. N.) on Sunday April 28, 4 -7 p.m. Those unable to attend are encouraged to visit https://everloved.com/life-of… to leave their condolences or share their memories.
