Heather and Laura are like my sisters. I have known them since 6th grade. Wonderful memories of Jim and Polly, spending the night at their home, spending special Christmas Eves together a few times, fun times and memories of a very special man. My heart goes out to the sweet family. So glad we will all be together some day in Heaven! Love you all.
My folks, Glen & Dorothy Bechtel dearly loved Jim & Polly. They had lots of joyful times at The Minerva Grace Brethren Church with them.
I always enjoyed spending time with Jim. When they lived in Somerset Jim and I liked going to King Buffet.  Like me, Jim enjoyed good food and we always liked talking about the lasted in U.K. Sports. Tracy and I were fortunate to have Jim as such a wonderful friend. We enjoyed spending weekends with Jim and Polly in Grove City. Jim always wanted to fire up the grill and always liked that we would bring apple fritters from Amon’s when we came. His eyes would light up and that big ole grin would come across his face.  I will miss my friend!❤️
I remember Polly and Jim always had the food covered at celebrate recovery. Jim was one of the most genuinely kind hearted people I’ve ever met.

Uncle Jim will be missed so m…

Uncle Jim will be missed so much. There were always so many laughs whenever he was in the room. He had a heart of gold. I will never forget,  when I was little, him chasing me with his belly button lint, trying to Dutch oven me and Aunt Polly one morning when I was around 6 and had snuck down and crawled in bed with them, the big bear hugs when I fell and scraped my knee falling out of the back of their station wagon, the fun being pulled behind their boat on the tube for the first time, and the practical jokes at all family get togethers. He and my dad and their corn eating contests that we’d all pay for the next day. I remember always loving the way he looked at Aunt Polly and even when he’d aggravate her, you could see how much they loved each other. I will always cherish the memories I have of him and can’t wait to see him again in heaven. ❤️
Sure do love Jim and I’m so thrilled for him getting to be in the presence of Jesus, but my heart goes out to his sweet wife Polly and the entire family. Praying for your strength my friends during this difficult time.
