Background
Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand.
Jack, and his beloved wife Nancy, met through music and made music together for 58 years. Jack's last musical experience was at the Thrasher Opera House. While Nan is a 'regular' at Thrasher (either to dance or to volunteer), Jack was less inclined to attend live music shows in his later years. However, in 2025, Nan took Jack to see Tom Rush - a major influence and source of excitement for Jack. It was an incredibly memorable experience, made possible by Thrasher Opera House - a community organization who exists to bring the gift of music to its neighbors year-round. Jack and Nan have always, and will always, support community-supported music spaces that allow us to come together, move together and be inspired together.
