Lisa, Rich and Owen,

What a beautiful boy and spirited soul.   Anyone in his presence would have realized what a treat it was to be around Ian.   He embraced life and lived his own journey.  The community of Park City is with you and supports you.   And we think of you every single day.

Loads of Love,

Randy, Carrie and Brady

Lisa, I am so sorry I never had the opportunity to meet your son Ian...but his energy and light will resonate and shine through those that loved him. My heart is heavy with sorrow for you, your family and all of those who were touched by Ian's glow. 💔

Take care of yourself, he would wish that of you

Dear Rich Lisa, Owen and Kelsey,

Losing your partner, your brother, your child… it feels so utterly unfair. Life is beautiful and so unfair at the same time. Losing someone you deeply loved. It feels unbearable… and it is.

Since we read the devastating news of Ian accident it’s in our head daily. We keep thinking of the proud stories and plans you both told about Ian and Owen when we visited Park City last summer. Walking the dog at the sporting ground near the Middle School in Park City with you Rich. Impossible to believe that those stories will be the memories for the future.

Grief is love in reverse. It might be one of the few soothing thoughts now. Your deep pain is only there because of something beautiful… the love for Ian.

We wish you all love in the world and you hold each other tight.

Lisa & Rich,  I was very sad to hear about your loss, so sorry this happened to you and his Brother.   Ian and Logan were together at McPolin Elementary and I have memories of him at a young age. He's such a beautiful, handsome young man, his pictures say it all !!  Lived life to his fullest.  You're in our thoughts.

Love, the Baltzan Family

Ian was the true embodiment of sunshine. I remember taking that photo of him and thinking, wow I just captured his energy perfectly. He brought life with him everywhere he went and touched every persons life he met. Living in a world where he isn’t here just doesn’t make sense. He loved hard and protected those he loved fiercely and I wish I could’ve done the same for him. I’m truly so sorry to your family. Heaven gained the greatest angel of em all.
Deepest Condolences on this tragic and profound loss. From the beautiful tribute, his love and light will continue to shine. Sending love and hugs and may your hearts take comfort in the memories of his beautiful life.
Lisa and Rich, my husband, Dick Gary, and I met you both for the first time during  this year's Art On The Trails.  We were so devastatingly sad to learn the terrible news about Ian.  We can see and feel that Park City is grieving with you and we send our love and healing vibes to you both.
Rich & Lisa: there are no words to express my sincere condolences. Ian will be missed and always in your hearts. May the memories of his life rest within yours. Love to you and your family. John & Denise Haines.
Rich & Lisa, just reading about your son Ian. I am saddened for your loss and for the loved ones he left. What a wonderful young man full of spirit and adventure! Remember him through stories you will tell us all. Our condolences, Connie & Rob Greene
