About Victim Witness Services for Coconino County
VWS assists victims, survivors, and witnesses who have experienced crimes such as: Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Homicide, Child Sexual and Physical Abuse, Assault, Robbery, DUI crimes with victim injury or fatality.

This organization helped our family a lot in the days following Ian’s death and continues to help us now.

About Bloom365
Their mission is to educate young people on healthy v. unhealthy relationships and build their skills to avoid controlling, abusive and violent behaviors now and later in life. Advocate for young people who have been victimized by providing trauma informed emotional support, counseling and safety services to enhance healing and well-being.
Our Reason for choosing this organization:
With proper prevention, this tragedy never would have happened. It’s important to us to help victims and those around them but we wish there weren’t any in the first place.

About The Ark Cat Sanctuary
The Ark Cat Sanctuary is a 24/7/365 no-kill and largely cage-free operation dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of cats and kittens that are in “at-risk” situations. They answer calls for help from shelters, rescue groups, and the public. They are located on 10 acres in the midst of the Kaibab National Forest, 35 miles northwest of Flagstaff, AZ. At the Ark, the cats live in habitat environments with access to both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Our Reason for choosing this organization:
Ian was a cat guy. There wasn’t a cat that didn’t love him and there wasn’t a cat that he didn’t love. This organization is no-kill and only uses cages for medicinal purposes.
