In middle and high school Ian was always awesome, kind, trustworthy, hilarious and witty. When I would run into him on Oahu years later, his energy was still the same. He will be greatly missed. Praying for his family and close friends during this hard time.
Ian was one of the first friends I made when I switched high schools. He was one of the funniest friends i’ve ever had. Ian made sure everyone around him had a smile because he was always cracking jokes. One time I asked him to put songs on my iPod because I knew he listened to good music and he brought it back to school the next day with only Bula’ia’s album 😂 Ian and Jeff would always play “Scotty Doesn’t Know” on the speaker as an inside joke and we would always be laughing. I feel so lucky to have been his friend and i will never forget his love and kindness.

Ian,
The way you talked about holding space for Cory in his last moments made my love for your friendship grow even more. I am so grateful for our late night conversation about how hard that was, and even more so that you were there for him. You always were so so kind. Your smile and silly little giggle made my day so often. Thanks for the selfies left behind in my camera roll, forever will be bumping into your smile when I’m scrolling to find something else now. Thank you for the hugs and the genuine love for everyone. We will remember you always. Sending your family so much love as they navigate how to cope with this all.
