Hugh will always be remembered as such a kind, generous, sweet person to be around.  Always a joy; smiling, laughing, or joking, that twinkle in his eye meant beware!  

Missed but never forgotten.. 💐 So happy that he is with his beloved Pat.  A beautiful soul who God gave as a treasure to all who knew him.   ✝️♥️💟

Uncle Hugh was a fabulous person with so many positive traits.
My Mom, Angie, loved him dearly.
Back in the 50s and early 60s we kids would have such fun coming to Tehachapi and spending time with the Vasquez clan running wild, and Uncle Hugh & Aunt Pat opened their home and were so warm and welcoming to all. He always had something funny to say to us gremlins, and that made him special to us. He gave us good times and good memories.
He was a man to look up to: strength of character, loving, goodhearted, generous, humorous, and more. He will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can still remember going to his store. I went to school with Hugh and Paul. A great family. Thoughts and prayers to your family.
