Henry's obituary

Henry Joseph Dunn, 29, passed away unexpectedly on April 21st, 2023 at home in St. Paul, Minnesota. He overcame health struggles related to his congenital heart condition throughout his short but full life. His family misses him immensely.

Henry was born on February 23rd, 1994 to Pamela and Stephen Dunn in Silver Spring, Maryland. After Henry graduated from Albert Einstein High School, he took classes at Montgomery College and pursued the service industry specifically related to healthcare.

His favorite hobbies included painting, exploring cuisine, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother Pamela Dunn, father Stephen Dunn, sister Kaitlin Scarpaci, and brothers Maxwell and Graham Dunn. He is also loved and remembered by his grandparents Joseph and Mary Lee Dunn along with a community of family and friends.

Henry is described by all who knew him as a bright light in the world. He was an extremely loving, positive, and genuine soul. He enjoyed life’s offerings with a passion. Henry championed major cardiac surgeries and recovery while maintaining his loving spirit.

Services will be held at Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 29th at 11 o’clock in the morning. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Children’s National Hospital and St. Paul Sober Living, organizations that deeply impacted Henry.
