And in the end the love we take is equal to the love we make--it is as true now as it was so many years ago on Gloria's and Richie's wedding day.

Dearest Gloria whose heart overflowed with love and whose goodness and generosity were boundless.  Always the flower child, she filled our lives with laughter and grace, kindness and wisdom--how blessed were we to have shared a small part of her extraordinary life.

Gloria was a true Mom and a kindred soul to our beautiful Ornella and for thirty years she guided Ornella's path with sagacity and love.   When I needed her most, Gloria was a gift beyond measure to Ornella and me.

Well, Glor, you may have reached the pearly gates before me--and I know that Richie and Rita and Joani and Raymond and so many others were there to greet you, but you and I will be together at the Last Judgement (as we often planned) and then we'll have all eternity to bicker and laugh over the bad calls.
