Kendal Calling 9 years ago. George and his friends collected empty bottles for cash and bought lots of hats. Hence the giraffe hat as all giraffes had been nicknamed George in our house! I sent off for the superman costumes so George and his dad could get into the guiness book of records for most superman's in one gathering. However I didn't check the costumes until we arrived and they had sent age 6 instead of age 11. George was a trouper and wore it anyway hence it's not a full costume but insisted on wearing it with his giraffe hat in true George character 💕 https://www.guinnessworldreco…

i've been thinking about you a lot more recently. you keep being in my dreams every once in a while and its just comforting. i miss you a lot and i have many regrets - i never knew the actual meaning of the saying, 'say it before it's too late' until you passed. it's nice to know that perhaps you are making your way through my dreams intentionally because you know how often i think of you. i think every once in a while i look up your socials or look at past messages. i look forward to visiting you in the summer. wish me luck for my exams, you know how anal i am with revision.

there isn’t a second that goes by where i don’t think of you, you beautiful angel georgie. nothing hurts more than seeing all of your socials slowly turn to offline. you taught me so much about repairing from past experiences, i wish i could tell you truly how grateful i am for you and your kind words. i’m so grateful you managed to bring yourself to get out to me and el, i’ll be eternally grateful for the effort it took you. i am so proud of you, i will forever be so proud of you. you were a blessing to everyone who got a chance to speak to you, there’s nothing i miss more than hearing your laugh. you knew me better than most, and i am comfortable with the fact that you saw fully into my soul, you understood me the same way i hope i understand you. i’d give anything to have one of your cuddles again. i hope that wherever you are, i am making you proud. sleep well gorgeous, we will meet again.

you always wanted me to be a better person and saw the potential i had, you were so kind to me and even through our ups and downs i'm sincerely glad to have met you georgie <3 i remember when we went to hamleys and bought a bunny together and you slept with it for as long as i can remember.
