Thank you everyone for your most generous donations. We have been overwhelmed by everyone's love and support and it means so much to get this bench into John Leigh park in George's memory.
We have £2,683 raised for the bench which is amazing.
We have met with the council and the friends of John Leigh Park and the next step is to get a specification of the bench on paper so it can go through the council departments for approval.
The woodcarver is not available to start the commission till the end of this year but we will meet with him to get the specification done so we can hopefully get it approved.
Realistic aim for installation will be Spring 2023
