Tuesday, 30 September 2025It's always sad when one of our alumni passes away. Our AIS/AES Alumni Community just learned a few days ago about Frank. So, apologies for the late condolences. Although I didn't know him personally at our school, he was very much liked and appreciated by his classmates and friends.May God take care of Frank's family and may Frank rest in peace.-Mary WilliamsonAIS AES Alumni Community (administrator)aisaesalumnicommunity@gmail.com

As I feel sadness reading of Frank’s passing, I am in awe of the way he made his life count in significant ways. Frank and I were classmates (class of 71) at AIS in New Delhi. He was one of the more memorable students with a witty sense of humor and infectious energy. Shine on, Frank. Like footprints, your impact remains within the many who knew you.

I was deeply saddened to find that Frank passed away almost 2 years ago, and I had no idea. Today was his birthday, and I sent him a message, only to hear nothing back. It wasn’t like him to not respond even with a kind thank you.
It may be way too personal, but without him here, I felt this page and those who knew him and loved him would understand.
Frank came into my life when I needed someone the most. I was in a very sad and dark place and he was always there for me. This was years ago, maybe 15 yrs, and he poured himself into being there for me. We were keeping it old school, and only communicated via emails. He was so nice, and always filled me with good and sage advice on what I should do. I am sad to see that those emails have vanished… esp now knowing he has passed. I would have loved to have read them again.
I only spent a few hours at dinner, face to face with him, on one occasion. He was such a respectful gentleman, but we both knew and understood each other deeply.
I loved Frank for being a kind soul to me when I had no one, and I loved that he made me feel seen, heard, and valued, and in some small way he saved me when I needed it. I’m in tears as I write this as I miss him, and never got to say goodbye. Rest in peace My Frankie.

Because of Frank I was able to experience this amazing flight over New Orleans. Frank was a kind soul, great friend and an extraordinary professional. It was an honor to work with him for 13 years. May he rest in peace!

"Tell (him, her, them) to go pound sand". I had never heard that expression before meeting Frank. That expression was his polite way of saying to me that we don't do business that way. I never told a client to actually go pound sand, but I did follow his directive with my own terminology to get the message across. Frank had some other colorful business expressions, but this one stands out for me.

Never be afraid to be yourself. Comfort zones are for sissy's.

Frank was like no other station guy I have ever worked with and I am so happy to have been able to get to know him on both a professional and personal level! I such had a blast during the time we worked together at lunches, dinners and of course watching Bruce Springsteen at Jazz Fest! I was so deeply saddened to hear about his passing; he will truly be missed.
