Ethan will always live in our hearts ~ Brooke and Mona
Attending your celebration of life was so breathtaking in the most tender and heart breaking way. It was a reflection of who you were- full of love, warmth and meaning. You touched my soul in a way I never expected, and even now, grief catches me off guard in the smallest moments. It was so clear how well you were raised. Your values, your kindness, your gentle heart. That kind of character doesn't fade, it lingers. Your presence mattered. Your life mattered. And your spirit will continue to live on in everyone who was lucky enough to know you ✨️🤍
Ethan and I went to high school together.  He was the nicest, kindest person I have ever met.  He was so extroverted and so full of life!  He could find the joy in every situation!  He always reminded me (an introvert) to reach out and have FUN!  He ran with the popular crowd but he also was a voice for the underdog and uplifted and said hi to those who didn’t have many friends.  He touched the hearts of every person he met.  One time, after school, my Mom (who passed away last summer) was driving me home, and we were blaring our “oldies” music (probably 70s music, possibly The Carpenters?) and he was in the next lane, he rolled down his window and signaled for us to roll ours down, too, and so we did, and he was hyping us up for our oldies music, and the three of us laughed and laughed!  He was so fun and such a joy to be around!  My Mom asked, “who is that nice kid?” and I said, “that is ETHAN, he is so cool!” I have many other memories of Ethan and all of them are filled with such fondness!  To his Mother, Anne, I am SO devastated of his passing.  The relationship you had with your son is the relationship I had with my Mother.  I am SO sorry.  I know Ethan is saying Hi to my mother for me.

Dear Ann - There are no words for a loss like this.  Ethan sounds like an extrodinary young man and I am so deeply sorry.  Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers and  I'm holding you in my heart.

Dear Anne,

I am deeply sorry for your loss.  I am thinking of you and sending hugs and energy.  Through you, I feel Ethan added light and love to the world.   I believe you will feel his presence in your heart during quiet moments and that he is surrounded now by love and peace.  Again, I am so sorry… Steve Fahrner (friend from yoga)

Ethan was such a smart, brave, caring, and funny person. He always took care of his family & friends and knew how to put a smile on anyones face. I am so so grateful to have had the privilege of spending time with him and I wish so badly that we had more time together.  Love you Ethan
Anne- I am so incredibly sorry to hear about the passing of Ethan. Please know I am holding you and your family close to my heart. I am sending you so much love ❤️

I never met Ethan but I work at his sisters school. My heart is with your family during this incredibly difficult time. While I never had the privilege of meeting Ethan, it’s clear through the love surrounding him how deeply he was cherished.

Keeping your family in my thoughts 💙

I am devastated to hear of Ethan’s passing. I think of him often; namely his bravery in standing up for his community, his humor, warmth, and his ability to bring people together around him. Ethan was a radiant human being, & a person who gave me immense hope for our future. This world is certainly dimmer without him. He will be deeply & sorely missed💔 Rest easy my friend

For the past couple of days it’s weighed heavy on my mind and heart thinking about how our friend is no longer with us and all the laughs we had. Every time I saw Ethan I had no idea what new idea he was onto or what our conversation would be other than a fun, abstract one, full of laughs mostly on my end because he was one of the funniest people I have ever known. I was always guaranteed a laugh when I ran into Ethan after class at SPC.

What I admired most about Ethan was that he was empathetic and he strongly believed in justice for those who were unfairly treated or persecuted even people across the other side of the planet. Ethan always questioned ideas and common beliefs. Ethan spoke out about topics that were obscure or taboo which he educated me on which made me a better person by being more conscious of the real world around us. Ethan was a real one.

I was told once that God (or Mother Earth, or Universe, or whatever you may believe) calls home these spectacular angels sooner than we would ever want.

Sometimes those angels are only with us in our wombs.

Sometimes those angels are born, and bless us in so many ways, but only for what seems like fleeting moments.

I was told these beautiful souls were to bless us in all of these miraculous ways, but then continue on their journeys.

Perhaps Ethan's calling was to bless his family, friends, and community with all of this joy, light, passion, and spark, but his remarkable soul was called home for a bigger purpose, to a new path.

This, of course, does not in any way diminish from the incredible loss and sorrow that is so heavy within your hearts, but I take solace in this idea that perhaps we can think of him as this shooting star of a human, who spread this incredible light, who left all those around him in awe, and he has now onto an even more beautiful path.

I send your family all of the love and comfort and hope for healing during this tragic time. May Ethan rest in eternal peace.

I met him at MPI call center. He was a sweet soul, he knew how to get along with anybody, and made friends with everyone, no matter the gender, background, or race. He's always so happy, supportive, and always full of energy. He always talked highly about his Mother, whose a nurse, he always says he looked up to her. He also always mention his little sister, how he has to work hard, become successful and take care of both the people he loves the most. He is a beautiful soul. May he rest in peace.

Ethan was my classmate back in elementary school - he was one of the kindest souls I ever met. He always stood up for people, and always made sure you were ok. I’ll never forget this one day in 4th grade when I ended up running into another kid on the soccer field and I ended up cutting my head open. Ethan was the first person to get me on my feet and bring me to the school nurse.

He was a really great guy and I’ll miss you dearly man
