It is a bittersweet moment as we mourn the loss of our precious Ernie. He had such high hopes he could beat his cancer; his endurance of chemo, radiation, surgery and clinical trials in the midst of becoming a new dad and maintaining support for his loving wife was heart-wrenching but a testament to his strength and resilience. We have come to accept that his only means for peace were to pass from this life to eternity to achieve it. He appreciated all of the love, support, and most importantly prayers, that helped sustain him though the last four years of his battle. A special note of gratitude for all our prayer warriors—we love and appreciate you so much! We ask that you continue to support our family, especially his wife and daughter, as we now strive to find the peace of understanding.
