Condolences from a fellow Vet  and his family. We will miss you Ernie!!!! ❤️

My condolences to Ernie's family. I first met Ernie when [was accepted as a  team member Seabee Team 0313 he was my officer in charge he was well liked and respected by each member of the team I remember waking up at the SERE prison camp and finding Ernie buried with only his head out of the dirt we all was ready to rebell but cooler minds prevailed.

After finally retirement after 21 years Ernie kept in touch he even offered me a job early on but I was not able to take it he has also helped my daughter find information in regards to my service.  He was and still is my Hero.

 - A fun fact: he went to 47 countries, some of which don't exist anymore!
