Sending heartfelt condolences to Erin's spouse and her family.
Erin was maid of honor at my wedding along with my other good friend Rene. We had alot of fun at Griffiths Junior High School and we were close friends, playing on the basketball team because we were tall. We also played on the Warren High School, Varsity Tennis Team. Erin used to give me a ride home from practice. I remember, the one day, the janitor chased us around the Varsity Softball Field. Erin decided that we would be graduating so she wanted to "leave her mark on school" by driving her Mustang out to the Softball field to make donuts around the pitchers mound.
I remember going to Nana and Poopies Malibu Beach House. The actor, "Donald O'Conner," and his family lived next door. We used to have bonfires with Alicia, Kevin and Fred O'Conner on the beach. We walked down to the end of the Malibu Colony and the actor, Adam West "Batman," was standing on his balcony and waved to us. So many happy memories with Erin. We lost contact after High School after I married my 1st husband. Erin had asked me to meet her at Furman Park to play tennis and it was there when I met my future husband.
Most people may not know this, but I traced her ancestry to Gov Wentworth who was the Governor of New Hampshire in the 1700's. I have attached a link to this information. I wanted to share the information with Erin, because she was a curious person and liked history and learning, which is why we were friends -- always curious and anxious to learn something new.

Erin was a creative and intelligent woman and she was good in math, just like her mom. I wished that I had went to UCLA with her. Her mom was an Alumni and Mathematician and she would call me, just to say "hi." I knew her mom as Dew, but I believe her name was Delores. Erin called to tell me she made the rowing team at UCLA. I think that's why she moved to Hawaii, because she found her love of rowing. I recently found out that she worked at Meow Wolf, as the HR Manager and I was trying to locate a number to reach out to say "hi" to her. I regret not contacting her sooner. Take care Dear Friend, Rest in Peace.

We laughed like hell at this. Not a breeze to be had but for some reason- my hair is like a nest in this picture! Erin is the leader that gave me the chance to change the direction of my career. She pushed hard but there was never a doubt that she would support me and have my back in a heartbeat. And when you take a picture and your hair looks like this- she’ll ask in a real nice and calm voice ‘what do you think happened here?’ Before cracking up!

When a special person like Erin passes away it causes me to take a sharp breath and contemplate what I am doing in the world and how am I using my time. Erin was my boss at Mars when I moved from the UK to the USA back in 1997. Yet she was never a boss in the traditional sense - she was a coach, a mentor, a friend, a thought partner, an agitator for change and someone that I came to look up to almost as a big sister. She helped me work through many business and personal life challenges, always with a strong sense of support and caring and love. Somehow she had that perfect sense of when to push, when to step back and when to hold up the mirror so I could make my own choices. She taught me the importance of following my own path and creating my own journey. When I was making the difficult choice to leave Mars and follow my then boyfriend (now husband) to California she enabled my transfer from the business in such a way that I could contribute and learn new things, giving me the time to find a new position on the other side of the country all while waiting 6 months for a new visa to be secured. I am forever grateful for the generosity of spirit and the patience she showed me during that time. It's a weird thing to think of a world without Erin's presence in it. I think in her passing she is once again giving me the gift of reflection and pushing me to reconsider my daily choices. I hope she is somewhere, somehow reading this from afar and smiling at the impact she knows she has had on so many people. She is so missed. xxx

Dear Alison,
My deepest condolences to you, and I want you to know that I'm thinking of you and sending my love during this difficult time.
I can't help but express the significance of Erin's gesture when she introduced the "bonsai" tree into our HR Team, symbolizing the profound relationship and harmony between humanity and nature. It embodies qualities such as balance, wisdom, strength, order, peace, wealth, and beauty. Additionally, the "bonsai tree" represents the struggle of a tree against the harsh forces of nature, and the care and love given to something that couldn't otherwise survive on its own. It also symbolizes the diverse ages and stages of a human's life journey.
Both of you have been a tremendous source of inspiration for all of us, motivating us to strive for excellence. I can't thank you enough for that.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Nuria

We are so sorry for Erin's passing and are very thankful that we got a chance to know her and Alison. We met many years ago in Maui when we rented the suite right above them at the Kameole Nalu. We had little kids and connected frequently on the trip as we retrieved toy cars that had been drive off of our lani and had ended up on theirs. Erin was so gracious with all the chaos raining from above that we ended up getting to know she and Alison quite well.
Over the years this ended up with more visits and more social activity - including a few dedicated trips. Our whole extended family got to know Erin and Alison very well; a we were a very fortunate part of her Canadian Family.
We always appreciated Erin's enthusiasm out in the waves, particularly her teaching of body surfing to our whole crew! The Campbells

2018, Erin & Alison’s place
A ‘low key’ evening over to enjoy Alison’s pizza turned into so much laughter, crying, singing (probably too loud for the neighbors), and one of my fondest Hawaii memories! So fun- I’m not even in the selfie!!! What a night!
