Dearest Kevers -

We are heartbroken by the news of Erica's sudden passing and grieving for Jim's loss of his lifelong best friend. We remember Erica as a shining light at the center of the Kever family, bringing her radiant joy, humor, wisdom and selfless love to Jim, Lindsey, Jamie, Adam and each one of her cherished grandchildren. She was always an inspiration and a delight to be around. Her loss will always be felt, but we know her love will never be diminished. Sending all our love to you.

Kever Family,

I have been thinking about your precious family, especially your littles, during this difficult time. What a profound legacy she has left behind for you all. I am so very sorry for your loss and am sending your family big hugs. Our family loves y’all. 💕

Clare Brooks Manning

I am so sorry for your loss. Sending all my love.
May you find comfort in each other and in your precious memories.
Thinking of you during this difficult time.  Sending you strength and love.
We wish there were words to ease the pain of this passing. Please know we pray for your comfort from our Lord and from so many caring friends. We always looked forward to our visits. We especially remember how, when they were in town, she always brought her young kids to visit Jim’s aging aunt and uncle Willis and Lorene. It made their day and was a gift so much more than I think she ever knew. That was typical of her caring attitude toward others. We were blessed to have known her!
There’s not a day that goes by that we won’t miss her laughter.  She lit a flame in this world that will never be extinguished.

Jim and family, 🙏🏻🙏🏻

We are so very sorry to hear of Erica’s passing.  I was introduced to Erica (and the rest of Anna and Erica’s Huntsville family) in college (the 1970’s) because she was the sister of my best friend and roommate in college - Anna.❤️💜🙏🏻  I grew to love Erica because she was one of the most giving, selfless, thoughtful women I knew.  Erica always put her family and friends first and always considered their feelings and reactions prior to her own responses/ actions.  Erica was loved by me and all my family and we will miss her beautiful smiling face!  😘 I loved the time I spent at their Destin, Florida vacation home in the 1980’s where I got to spend time getting to know Erica’s and Jim’s beautiful daughters Lindsey and Jamie.

 Love, Terri and (Ron) Pehrson

I will always remember our last hug at Fred’s memorial and the love we shared for each other’s family over the years. What a gift it was to be able to tell her that—and to see her sweet smile that could light up an entire room. She was truly gracious and kind to everyone she met.

My heart breaks at her passing, but my spirit sings knowing she’s resting in the arms of Jesus. Barry and I will always carry her close in our hearts.

“Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord.”

—Matthew 25:21

In loving memory of a beautiful soul, deeply missed and forever cherished.

Love,

Janene and Barry

My thoughts and prayers are with your family.  Jim was often at our house growing up, and Clark and he have remained dear friends for many years with lots of fun travels with your mom. My heart breaks for all of you.   🙏

Ken and I are heartbroken for “our” family. We were all so blessed to know and love Erica. She was a unique person in every positive way.
