I knew Eric in college mostly ... after I heard from my friend Brian who heard from Will Faber he had passed, I've been thinking about Eric very warmly - I've been showing my family his pictures and sharing my memories of him. Also I've been thinking a lot about Eric's beautiful family (just now seeing pics of his family for the first time). 

I had the wonderful pleasure of playing music with Eric at Knox College in and out of the jazz ensembles, and also hanging out ... I always respected Eric's (non-contradictory somehow) mix of soft fierceness, emotionally-attuned masculinity, wild maturity, intellectual physicality and utter cool combined with approachability and easy warmth. I've always seen him as a beautiful man.

My heart, along with many I'm sure, are with Eric's family and close friends ... he was appreciated, loved and admired by many

I was heartbroken when I heard the news of Eric's passing.  I am your friend Tessa's mother, Teri.  It has always been a pleasure to see your lovely family during the Halloween season when I attend my grandson Owen's birthday parties.  I'm sending you love.  -Teri Freas

Our deepest condolences to Emma, Pearl & Asa. We will miss hearing Eric’s joy as he plays with all the kids outside. May you find peace knowing how much he loved his family.

Eric was such a lovely man.  I was his client and friend.  We shared a love of Harry Potter. He was always so kind and caring.  He was a class act.  Over the years of our conversations, I would always end our discussion saying 'I'm smarter having spoke to him'.   My deepest condolences to his family.  A fine man taken way too soon.  His family is in my prayers.
