Ellie's obituary
Ellie Bulger passed away on February 16, 2023, at the young age of 17. Born on April 28, 2005, in Phoenix, Arizona, Ellie was the beloved daughter of Patrick and Darcie Bulger and twin sister to Cole Bulger.
Ellie was kind hearted, loving, and adventurous. She was a senior at Bothell High School, in Bothell Washington. Her high school years were filled with adventure and spontaneity. She was fearless and free spirited, and taught others to live life to the fullest. She treated everyone with kindness and generosity, and always saw the good in people.
Ellie experienced emotion intensely, which enabled her to relate to people when they were struggling. Whether she knew you or not, if she saw someone struggling, she stopped what she was doing and extended love and kindness. She experienced joy intensely as well, which made her incredibly fun to be around. Whether going on an adventure or just hanging out, spending time with Ellie almost always led to experiences that would create stories to be told days, weeks, months, and years later. She was a force for ‘EPIC’!
Ellie had a brilliant mind and extraordinary creativity. She collected small mementos and took pictures of things she thought were funny, strange, and beautiful. She wanted for others to feel better than she did, and would often give the mementos she collected or made to her friends and family. She would talk about the beauty or oddity she saw in the things she collected and loved sharing her ideas, laughter, and stories of adventures that led to the mementos she shared.
Ellie Bulger was a kind, passionate, and adventurous soul. Though she passed too young, she lived life to the fullest and touched the lives of many. Ellie's memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved her. A service to celebrate Ellie's life will be held on Saturday, March 11th, 2023, from 11 am to 3 pm PT at Willows Lodge in Woodinville, WA.
Ellie's passing is a profound loss to her family, friends and community. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on as a source of inspiration and hope for all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
