I offer the Carmical and Carroll families my sincere condolence. I'm a high school classmate who lost contact with Donna for many years and only reconnected while planning our 55th class reunion. Donna and I communicated through Facebook and Messenger and she reminded me of memories of things we did together in high school. I will treasure her friendship forever.
I first met Donna somewhere around 1999. I was in a new job; one that I was still learning the in’s and out’s of. Donna joined me and brought with her all the knowledge that I was lacking. Together we grew “as one” and made a very effective team. She always had my back as I did of hers. We both continued to advance in the Forest Service and made a super pair, each enjoying each other’s style and knowledge. With the exception of calling me “crazy” on a few recurring occasions we always strived to achieve the goals we had both set for the organization and each other. She was one of the most important and meaningful friend and co-worker that I experienced in my 30 year career. I had nothing but admiration for her professionalism, and always admired how she made time for her kids, grandkids, nieces and especially Larry. What a wonderful person!
