Personal note from Eden

Post Gathering Note: The video is posted in the events section. I started the stream on time, but didn't begin speaking until about 20 minutes later - so feel free to fast forward. Also, I ended by reading something she wrote about Bodega Bay in 1986. The stream cut out before the end - so I have posted the text of the speech in the events section as well. It was a perfect end - as that is where I will take her ashes.
Thank you so much to everyone visiting this site. It has taken me several weeks to begin to find my way to share the loss of my mom. It was unexpected. Right up to the last moment neither of us would admit she could go. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. My mom lived and worked at so many places and made so many friends I haven't known and friends I have heard about but never met. I haven't been able to find everybody. I'm glad you have found your way here. Please feel free to add memories (with or without photos), contribute to favorites, and add or correct timeline entries. There is a lot I can't remember details about (and may have wrong) and people I just don't know. I have found pictures of people but will not share them publicly without permission. She was an only child of two only children. Beside me and my family, her friends were her family.
Love, Eden
