I only met David once at the baby shower but he was very sweet and caring. This breaks my heart for the friends and family he left behind and know he will watch over Anthony and Emily to keep them safe.   Rest in peace, David. ❤️‍🩹

Laura, my heart is breaking for you, Emily and little Anthony and the rest of your family. I can’t imagine what you are going through. I hope all the prayers from the many people that love you can help just a tiny bit. My deepest sympathy and love.

I was shocked and saddened when I saw the news of David's passing. Even in the short encounters I had with David they were so enjoyable. Everything you described him to be is so true. We would hang out at the Hudson pool and very much felt his inquisitive, warm, and kind soul just trying to figure life out! You could tell that he would think about things deeply. I remember really enjoying his sense of humor and he was one of those people that you felt you could have "real" conversations with. Being inclusive and approachable was certainly his superpower.

Ashley and Nathan's care and love for him was palpable and I could see you all took such good care of him and he had so much love for you all back <3.  I am very sad for everyone who knew him. Hugs to you Ashley and Nathan.

I have worked with David since he came to Austin.   He called me his “work Mom” and I already miss him so much.  We shared a lot and I was never so happy when he met beautiful Emily.  He was very special to me.
