Emma, my deepest condolences to you and your family. I only met your dad once but feel like I knew him because he was such a strong, beautiful presence in your life. More times than I can count, you’ve referenced his ideas, advice, and sense of humor. He was ever-present in conversations where we were trying to solve big, knotty problems or finding humor in the everydayness of life. Thank you for sharing a piece of your dad with those of us who love and adore you.
I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Dave’s passing. I remember the great care he provided for Nanny and Grandpa. They spoke so highly of him and were so proud. I treasure the Bible he gave me of Nanny’s. I am truly grateful to him.
I’m so glad I got to meet you dad, Emma. He was so proud of you at graduation!  Sending prayers for you and your family as you grieve him.
While Dave was one of the smartest ones in our class, he was very personable and always had a smile on his face. I will always remember the awesome job he did as the male lead in our senior class play—no wonder he was such a good salesman! His personality really shined in that play. I am so glad he made it to our 55th reunion in October and that I was able to have a nice visit with him. He will be truly missed by so many. Condolences and peace to all his family during this most difficult time.
Dave will be missed by all that knew him.  As all of us remember Dave, I for one will say when Dave was around he was the party.  I will miss you my old friend.
I grew up around the corner from Dave and  his family we graduated from high school together and I always enjoyed seeing him whenever he came to Greenville for a visit or reunion.  Prayers for his family 🙏

What a shock to hear the news about Dave ! I had such a wonderful visit with him at our 55th Class Reunion and he looked vibrant ..  the way we all want to remember him💕

Kay and Children , please know that I will be lifting y’all in prayer as you experience life without Dave🙏🏻

Kay, I can't find the words to correctly express how I'm feeling...know that you are in my thoughts daily. I love you. I am praying for you, Emma, Alex, Harry & Dave's family & friends...may God grant you all comfort during this difficult time.
I, along with everyone else, am in a state of shock. Dave exuded intelligence and kindness. He did the things that truly mattered where friends and family were concerned. He shared a long visit my my dad before he died, and it meant the world to daddy.  He will be missed; love and prayers to his loved ones, of which there are many!
What a great business associate and friend I have lost. My sincere condolences.

Dad always wanted to go hang …

Dad always wanted to go hang gliding, but this was as close as he got: parasailing to celebrate my business school graduation. Always a thrill seeker! He taught me to go after the adventures you want to have, without hesitation.

So sorry for your loss!  Dave was one of best of the best!  Had a lovely visit with him at the 1967 Class Reunion!
Dave was brilliant, kind and loyal. A joy to be around and known to all who knew him as one of life’s truly good guys. Heartbreaking loss to the world. My condolences to his Family and all his many friends.

Sending condolences to all who loved Dave, especially Kay.

Thank you for the beautiful memorial, Emma.  Peace be with all of you

A wonderful fun visit whenever Dave was around
My prayers are with Kay & with Dave’s children. Dave will be missed by many family & friends, but now reunited with Uncle Otto, Aunt Martha, his 2 brothers, many aunts, uncles, cousins, & grandparents. Proud to call you cousin. May God bless you all.
Sorry to hear of Dave’s passing, I know daddy thought the world of Dave. I hope you guys find some comfort in the days ahead knowing how much he loved and was loved.
