Erin Bartmess
1999, Green Pines Elementary School, Green Pines Drive, Wildwood, MO, USA
J.P. Bartmess was at Green Pines Elementary lining up in the hallway when a classmate supposedly “smashed his face into the tiled wall” and broke his front tooth in half that fell to the floor! His teacher immediately put the tooth in milk and called his mother. She frantically called Dr. Drissell who quickly made time for J.P. and “glued” his front tooth back into his mouth hoping for the best!  Three years later, J.P. really needed braces so Darrell recommended and warned Cy Alizedah of the “special” tooth situation in J.P.’s mouth!  We are grateful that 26 years later, J.P. still has a beautiful smile and we will forever be grateful to Dr. Darrell Drissell for his dental expertise and for going the extra mile for the smile!!❤️

Valerie Spiegel and I crashed Darrell’s 50th birthday celebration to sing him this song!  It was kind of mean but we meant it to be light hearted and funny because we loved him so much!!  😘

Great Travels Together!
I remember the 1st time we went camping with Darrell & Kathy. We were waiting for them to come to the campground & we saw the little Honda drive in & couldn't figure out what it was on top of their car & as they got closer we could see it was a full size mattress they tied to the top of the car. They were going to be comfortable in their tent darnit! We laughed so hard!

Enjoying one of Daryl’s places!
Our prayers and Sympathy to the family at this difficult time. Gail and I have been Dr Drissell's patients for over 30 years. We are thankful for his service and compassion. One time I (Bob) was having a painful tooth experience, Darrell had a convention out of town but gave his cell phone number to me if it got worse. It did, and I called, he called in a prescription for me. He went that extra mile. We have been so thankful for Dr. Drissells medical care and friendship. God Bless Dr. Drissell.       Bob & Gail Garthe

Kathy just wanted you and your family to know that Darrell was so loved and adored.  He was so much fun to play sports with and loved to beat his brothers.  Playing basketball with Darrell as my partner was a lot of fun.  As my dentist he was the best.  Our heart hurts for you now but God has his own plan at work.  We wanted you to know we are thinking of you and your family.
I went to PCH my Sophomore and Junior years with Darrell and even though I haven't seen or talked to him in over40 years I remember some of his humor… So sorry to hear of his passing.

I have know Darrell since junior high. I went to Green Trails church with the whole Drissell Family. I also went to him for my dental work. He was a wonderful person. I am so very sorry to hear that he has passed. I know he will be greatly missed. Sending prayers of healing for the family.

My heart broke hearing the news of Dr. Drissell. Dr Darrell was one of the most kindest, gentle men, I know. He was our dentist for many years-and was always patient,  kind and gentle .

I have a daughter with a disability and she was always at ease  with Dr. Darrell and loved him. We all loved him and he will be so sorely missed in this world . When I found out, it was a shock and so emotional because he was such a beautiful soul . Heaven just gained a new angel. Eternal memory Darrell.

I'm so saddened to hear of Darrell’s passing.   He meant the world to me for so very many reasons.   My prayers go out to Kathy and the kids and grandkids. They meant so very much to him and brought him joy beyond measure.   He will truly be missed by all who knew him professionally and personally.   God be with each of you with the comfort, peace, and strength only He can provide.  🙏🏻❤️ Carol Uphoff.  -John 14:1-3
