💐Those who live in our memories are never truly gone.Celebrating the life of a good person and mourning their passing with you. May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you.❤️

Condolences are in order to all family members. Take comfort in the Lord!❤️💐🌻🙏🏾

I met the beautiful Sister Darian during one of my visits to Miami  spend time with Sister Ivy Read, of Kingdom Builder Ministries.  Darian would come to visit with her during the week and take her to Church on Sundays. We became friends immediately.  Her warmth and caring nature was evidence of her deep love and commitment to God. She loved her family and was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted daughter, adored her Dad  and spoke about him whenever we met, even allowed me to say hi to him in Jamaica. I believe she spoke with him almost every day.

There are so many stories I could tell but they are too many to share so I will just share three below:

I shall never forget her delicious ackee and breadfruit.  She would cook and telephone me to say she's on her way.  Once she even came to teach me how to prepare and cook the ackee from scratch! I tried many times but mine never came anywhere close to hers.

She knew I was a visitor to America from England, so she would on many occasions take me to Malls, supermarkets, restaurants,  drive outs, and often popping by Sister Ivy's for a chat.

She was a kind person,  very giving. I remember she gave me two beautiful suits and a hat. So sophisticated they were, I wore one of the suits to the Lord Mayor's inauguration and the hat to our late Queen's celebrations.

She was such a beautiful, kind, caring soul. But she was also humorous,  energetic, loved her gospel music and dancing. One night she took me to a convention in another area of the city, she got me up dancing, spinning me around, as we sung our praises to the the Lord, and when I wanted to stop she would take my hand and start again, she was full of life. These stories will live on in my memory forever. Rest in peace dear friend.

Sister Darian's heart was a home of comfort and love for so many. I shall miss her terribly,  my visits to Miami will never be the same.

Rest in Paradise Darian😇🙏🏾

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted", and He comforts those whose spirits are crushed. Though the shadow of grief falls upon us, with the passing of my (second mom) Aunt Darian, I know that she rests in His eternal embrace. As a mother comforts her child, so the Lord comforts those who knew her in this time of sorrow. May the memories of her love, be a testament to her earthly devotion, be a source of strength and peace. And may the promise of resurrection, be a beacon of hope and guide us through this valley of tears, until we are reunited in the light of His glory. He who gathers the lambs in His arms shall gather her, and us, in His loving care.
