June 23rd 1978 - July 11th 2023

Darell Goff, age 45, was born on June 23rd 1978 in Gibson City, Illinois to Anita Johnson and Lee Goff. He was a family man and absolutely adored his Wife Cherise and 3 girls Autumn, Nyiah and Zoey. He also had a Grandson Zayden, Niece Alainah and 3 siblings Amanda, Chris and Renee. As well as a dog that he named Ruckus (after a bike he had).

He loved the outdoors. Especially fishing. But you would also catch him either hiking or camping. And just recently went tubing down the river for his Birthday.

He was also a fan of music. He had gone to a few different concerts and was always sharing songs with family and friends.

One of his goals and dreams was to be a personal trainer. At one point he was able to do a walking handstand. Motivating people brought him joy.

He started working for the Union just over a year ago. But he was also a certified welder/contractor and had a culinary licence.

He enjoyed traveling and thrift shopping. And if he could help someone he would. He was known to make care packages for people and offer a listening ear. He would even make plates of food for people and deliver them on Holidays.

He was authentically himself, never judged anyone and had the best heart. He truly made an impact in this world. Although his physical life ended on July 11th 2023, I know he is still here with us. Forever in our hearts.
