He was always such a dedicated and hard worker. He was well-known for being polite and courteous to his customers and employees. He was always willing to help them in any way that he could.
Danny will be remembered for his compassionate, humorous, attentive, and loving personality. Danny believed in treating others how you would want to be treated, which he embodied in his everyday life. Always one to help others in need, he was a self-less and caring human being. He believed that you get what you give. He truly believed in what goes around comes around. He always treated people with kindness and acceptance. He was a true gentleman. His work ethic was like no other. He was a caring, hard working and honest man, who instilled those traits in his daughter and his grandchildren.
An avid bass guitar player, Danny enjoyed spending his free time immersed in music, sharing his talent with those around him all of his life. He enjoyed playing in a band with his brothers Francisco Gomez and Joseph Gomez. They traveled and played with many talented musicians throughout his life. His love for the outdoors led him to find solace in his favorite vacation spots, Port Aransas and Aransas Pass, Texas. Daniel's passion for fishing and boating could always be felt when reminiscing about his time spent on the water.
His father, Francisco Gomez, Sr. was in the army and stationed in Alaska. Danny was born in Anchorage, Alaska in 1957. He always lit up when sharing his childhood memories of living in Fairbanks with his mom, dad and siblings. He shared many stories with his daughter, many of which were funny and unforgettable. He enjoyed living in such a beautiful and breathtaking place.
Danny’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his memory will live on through the lessons he shared, his recorded music and the unforgettable moments that took shape in his presence. Always putting the needs of his family, before his own and always sacrificing for the happiness of others. He will never be forgotten and will forever be loved.
