It was Palm Springs, spring break, we were 16, we took a joy ride in the middle of the night in my parents rental car to visit friends in the city some miles away where we attended a golf course party with 300 other kids our age.
Eventually we all got chased away by the on site patrol cars, after a lot of hide and seek with the patrol we made it back to the rental and found the way back to where we were staying only to get caught the next morning because we had parked in a different spot on the other side of the complex and there was rap music at full volume on the radio.
It was just me and him and wild ride into the California night. Casey was always up for any adventure and Im sure everyone who grew up with him has a similar story to share. We were wild and free and the anything goes energy Casey brought to our group allowed us to have the best youth imaginable.
We grew apart over the years unfortunately but I will love and miss and remember him forever.
In response to "What was the most fun you ever had with Casey?"
Casey was always kind to everyone he met. He had an openness about him that quickly put people at ease.Animals were always drawn to him and he showered them with love. He was a gentle, loving soul who appreciated all the beauty in the world around him.
In response to "What act of kindness did you witness from Casey?"

Incredibly sorry for the family and their loss. Although we didn’t visit often, the memories of our childhood visits are unforgettable. Casey was a special person 💕

I am so sorry Sara. You’ve been such a great friend to Kristina and I always loved hearing about your family. Especially funny stories about Casey. I know how much you loved him. He couldn’t have had a better big sister.
We're neighbors of Casey's grandmother and have had the pleasure of meeting him a few times at her fabulous Christmas parties. We'll remember him as always very friendly and pleasant. Our deepest condolences to Casey's family and friends.
