There are a lot of stories, but one of my favorites was the night he met Sonja.   Dan was with a bunch of work friends, including me, at a party. He had his eye on Sonja, but so did a lot of other guys that night. He won out in the end and felt like he won the lottery. He put Sonja on a pedestal from that moment on.
