DP has always been a solid individual. Full of spirit and good conversation. Always positive despite of what is going on in and around him, and has always been a leader in the culture. A man of many phrases! He will truly be missed! #internets #bootGod #Polobear

It was always love and positive energy whenever we bumped into each other. Our conversations from food, clothing and everything else always ended with a joke and a smile. This is how I will always remember you, big bro, with a smile! God bless you! Love- Alex, bkpuertorock, lil' Bro. Rest in peace.

It was always a good day when I would run into Dallas while working at the NYC Department of Buildings. He was warm, kind, funny as heck, and always had a smile on his face. I enjoyed talking and laughing with Dallas. We have lost many "DOB Family" members in the past few years, but not seeing Dallas ever again truly hearts my heart. Rest in peace, big D. You were loved, and will never be forgotten.

I remember that Brooklyn/Queens Day like it was yesterday. We had a ball floating between the WBLS and 98.7 KISS FM stages. The whole crew was looking fly and we were dance battling, being rowdy, and just having a great time as young adults. Amid the chicanery, I see Dallas out of the corner of my eye lurking with that mischievous look on his face. I knew something was about to happen. Next thing I know, I'm getting showered with white powder. I turn around and see D throwing flour at everyone in our crew. All hell broke loose as we started a flour fight in the middle of Flushing Meadow. All the colorful Polo, Stussy, Gucci, and Bennetton we were rocking were covered in white! It was one of the most fun afternoons of my life and I still think back to it often. My bro was always good for some outrageous and hilarious behavior when we were young. Even as he aged, he led with that same sense of humor in his writing, films, podcasts, and everyday life. I'm gonna miss you bro but I have plenty of laughs with you to last a hundred lifetimes. Love you bro.
