I am so sorry for your loss. Cliff was a precious part of the library, such a kind and gentle and witty person. In the new building, he was always the last smile I got before going in the meeting room for storytime, and the first smile when I came back into the tech services area afterwards. I was an OM coach years ago, and I wish I had known to ask Cliff for OM stories. My heart is with everyone who knew him best, and who cherish his memory.

Sending my sincere condolences to the Cromwell family on the transition of their husband and father, Mr. Cromwell. I will be forever grateful to him and Mrs. Cromwell as they served as surrogate parents to my son, Keith. They loving provided rides, advice, food, support and guidance during his formative years. Praying for your comfort as you remember this wonderful individual and his impact on so many young lives.

I started my Odyssey of the mind Journey in 2006 . Where I had the Honor and pleasure of meeting Cliff and Lois. It was the start of a great friendship. I looked forward to seeing him each year at World Finals. I could go on and on.He and Lois taught me everything I needed to know about O.M. He was TRULEY ONE OF A KIND. I will never forget him. MY love and prayers to Lois and Chris and Lee

In Loving Memory of Cliff
Cliff's passing has left an undeniable void in our lives. He was a true friend, a gentle soul with a heart of gold. I'll forever cherish the memories we shared, from our playful banter at the front door when I used the knocker incessantly ("What do you want?"), he would say when he answered, then smile to the warm embrace and the inevitable cheek kiss from us both that followed.
Cliff's dedication to Odyssey of the Mind was inspiring. His passion for helping others was evident in his selfless actions – always ready to lend a hand without a word. And that mischievous glint in his eye, as if he was always plotting something fun, will be deeply missed.
Our ride down to San Antonio, and my terrible navigation that lead to Cliff's frustration that he kept inside (I just know it!)
His stories of being a teacher, and his love for history. His bucket hat that he wore to the tournaments. His cheekie grin. The way he channel-hopped during commercials and shows he wasn't really watching. His reply to "Good Morning" in his gruff voice, "What's Good About it?" His love, for me, for his family and friends. I knew I could always count on Cliff.
I will miss it all, so much.
