Being friends with Claire made for a very special childhood full of cherished memories. I don’t know that I could pick just one that would sum up our relationship. So many shared experiences that I will never forget. I, too, loved her amazing smile. It definitely could light up a room. While the grief comes and goes over the days and weeks to come, I’ll choose to remember the sleepovers, trick-or-treating, piano duets, beach trips, California trips, summer camps, graduation, weddings, and babies. All my love. 💕

I wish we could have seen each other more these last few years, but it feels like just yesterday we were raising the kids together in town, drinking wine on the porch, and you telling me “you’re in labor!” when I asked you for Tylenol because my back hurt when I started having contractions with Izzie, not knowing I was in labor.

You had a great laugh and an infectious smile, and your heart was so kind. And you were the best mom. I will forever cherish your friendship and the memories we have ❤️

I love you Claire! ❤️
